Alexander Acosta is an Industrial Engineer, specialized in marketing. He has a track record of more than 25 years in the financial sector in Consumer Banking, franchises of payment methods, data processing networks and data analytics services, with experience in Colombia, Peru and Panama.
In charge of leading the strategic projects of Telered, its business lines and subsidiary, Alexander brings invaluable experience in general management, marketing, products, digital channels, planning and control, financial, commercial and sales analysis, projects and innovation, developing skills for creation and implementation of new projects and products, penetration of segments, design of commercial portfolios and business strategies.
Alexander has been a Speaker in local and international forums with the Inter-American Development Bank, World Bank, Visa International and Felaban, on issues of bancarization, extension of financial services to the lower-income population, sustainable financial inclusion models. Additionally, he was in charge of the project “Bancarización estratos Bajos” selected by the World Bank – CGAP – Bill Gates Foundation.
Looking to share knowledge and experiences from his professional career, Alexander is a Professor of Strategic Planning, Digital Marketing and Business Model Creation. One of his great passions is developing and working with high performance teams in organizations.
Vice President of Operations and Products
With more than 35 years of experience in the banking and payment processing services market, Ivan is a key member of Telered. In the more than 20 years of being part of the Telered family, Ivan has managed to lead and carry out important projects for the different products and services of the company, the most recent being the adoption of the ISO20022 messaging format for the ACH network. The excellent execution of this project gives way to the modernization of the compensation system in Panama, putting Panama one step closer to becoming a cashless city.
Ivan is a member of the Latin American Association of Electronic Funds and Information Transfer Networks (ATEFI) and of the Latin American Meeting of Clearing House Operators (ELOCC).
He is currently an advisor to the Payment Methods Commission of the Banking Association of Panama (ABP) and was part of the evaluation commission for the implementation of the Gross Settlement System in Real Time, as well as the commission that designed the standard of the check format used in Panama.
Vice President of Technology
Pastor is a professional with extensive experience leading industry teams, both locally and internationally, with a track record of more than 25 years. In the banking sector, Pastor stood out as CIO in financial institutions and mass consumer companies, leading projects that allowed these companies to be one step closer to digital transformation in order to provide a high quality service to their clients.
Pastor is a graduate of la Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá with a degree in Systems Engineering. In his work, he has always been a faithful believer in training and continuous learning; Pastor has an MBA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Management and different courses in Leadership and Digital Transformation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Vice President of Innovation and Projects
Susana Reategui Soto has a solid background in digital transformation and strategic leadership, having built her career primarily at BBVA, where she made a significant impact across various geographies. With a foundation in Industrial Engineering from Lima, Peru, and an Executive MBA from ICADE in Madrid, Reategui has shaped a global perspective that she now brings to the Panamanian banking system in her role as Vice President of Innovation and Projects at Telered in Panama.
During her time at BBVA Spain, she held key roles in technology and transformation projects across retail and market segments in several countries in Europe and the Americas, focusing on business growth and the adoption of global best practices.
At BBVA Peru, she led multiple areas, including Solution Development and Open Innovation, Process Discipline, Digital Solutions, and Technology Projects, achieving notable success in managing large and complex teams.
Retaegui has also demonstrated a strong commitment to continuous education, having completed distinguished courses such as “Digital Strategies for Business” at Columbia Business School and “Artificial Intelligence and Data Science for Executives” at the University of Chicago. She has developed strong capabilities in aligning strategies, leading teams, and transforming operational processes, positioning herself as a professional benchmark of excellence backed by academic training and international experience in the financial sector.
In her role as Vice President of Innovation and Projects at Telered in Panama, she leads strategies that include the design of new products, the execution of strategic projects, and oversight of the Data domain.
