This service offers the possibility of outsourcing document processing for banks members of the Panamanian banking system, achieving greater agility and efficiency in handling times. It is a safe and reliable service that allows you to process the checks sent and received in order to be processed by PID and sent for collection through the compensation section of the Banco Nacional de Panamá.
The banks obtain the services of internal consultation, reception, classification and preparation of documents to be processed, electronic data and image capture, preparation of statistical reports and information exchange with other members of the banking system.
As a result of this service, banks can offer their clients account statements with images, remote inquiries and generation of images of processed checks.

Banks in the local plaza can receive all the services that PID offers.

The bank must develop an master file account and a master transaction file that it will exchange daily with PIDs through the secure site.

You must have authorization from the Clearing House of the Banco Nacional de Panamá and the Superintendency of Banks.

There are three processing windows, which are carried out at the following times:

  • From 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., corresponding to the outgoing chamber.
  • From 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., which corresponds to the incoming camera.
  • From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., corresponding to checks paid at the cashier.
